Strengthen Co-Teaching & Consultant Teaching Partnerships (K-12)
Flexible, asynchronous training courses with feedback and support, designed to improve teacher collaboration, instructional practices, and student outcomes.
Collaborative Teaching Partnership is a professional development program created by Ryan Hogan and Erica Schlifke, practicing educators with extensive experience in collaborative teaching and inclusive instructional practices.
Over the past seven years, we have designed and delivered collaborative teaching training for K–12 educators, supporting co-teaching and consultant teaching teams across all grade levels. This work has provided deep, firsthand insight into the real challenges schools face and the practical strategies that actually improve collaborative classrooms.
Our work focuses on strengthening teacher partnerships and improving outcomes for students in inclusive classrooms. Through years of working directly with special education and general education teaching teams, we developed a structured, practical approach to improving collaboration, communication, and instructional practices, which is now available for districts to implement through flexible, asynchronous trainings with timely feedback and support.
Built for Teaching Teams to Complete Together
Co-teachers or consultant teachers/gen.ed teaching partners complete the training together, strengthening real working relationships.
Fully Asynchronous
No scheduling challenges—teachers complete the provided lessons/assignments with their partner allowing for flexibility in timing.
Ongoing Support & Feedback
We review assignments completed by your teachers, provide feedback, and respond to participant questions throughout the course.
Districts that invest in structured co-teaching and consultant teaching development see:
Stronger professional relationships between teachers
Improved communication and shared responsibility
More effective lesson planning and instructional delivery
Increased use of co-teaching strategies
Better outcomes for students
We’d love to learn more about your district and how we can support your co-teaching and consultant teaching teams.
Our co-teaching professional development program is designed to be fully fundable through existing federal and state education funding streams. In most cases, districts can implement this training at little to no additional cost. (See our Funding Alignment Guide page for details)
